若い子供に対する新型コロナウィルスワクチンの問題点

//Question//---
Do you think that SARS-CoV-2 vaccination for children must proceed in the world? What is the critical age?

//Fact//---
*Most children has low to moderate symptom in SARS-CoV-2 infection(1,2), but a very limited portion of young patients has multisystem inflammatory syndrome(MIS-C)(3).
*Children play a minimal role in spreading the infection to others(4). Therefore, epidemiological risk is small.
*Vaccination safe protocol is ethically difficult(4), but now the clinical trial for the children (12-15 years old) proceeds(5,6).
*Ongoing physical distance in the school life leads to problematic psychological and physical negative consequences(7).

//My opinion//---
*Only one time dose, not booster dose can be considered as vaccination trials after confirmation of safety like mRNA vaccine.
*On the neonates, antibody transport via breastfeeding needs to be investigated.
*Vaccine (physiology, safety) that has already been approved could be referred for the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine program for the young children.
